  1. No Purchase Necessary: This contest is sponsored by Red Wing Brands of America, Inc. (“Red Wing”). No purchase or payment is necessary to enter this contest. Red Wing reserves the right to modify the rules of this contest in any way or at any time, as long as reasonable notice is given.
  2. How to Enter: In order to enter the contest, you need to complete the entry form online at shovelreadyboots.com (the “Site”) between May 11, 2009 and August 19, 2009. Only one entry per day per individual allowed. Red Wing assumes no responsibility for lost, illegible, incomplete, unconfirmed, damaged, late or misdirected entries, all of which will be void. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. CST, August 19, 2009.
  3. Eligibility: This contest is open to legal residents of United States of America who are 18 years of age or older. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This offer is void where prohibited or restricted. Employees of Red Wing or any companies owned by or affiliated with Red Wing, and members of those employees’ families, are not eligible to enter or win. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this contest will be ineligible for any prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
  4. Selection of Winners: There will be a drawing for a total of 100 winners during the 2009 sweepstakes. All drawings will take place between May 11, 2009 and August 19, 2009. Eligible entries received before the deadline set forth in paragraph 2 will be entered into the drawing, from which one winner will be chosen at random. Winning entries will not be eligible subsequent drawings. The decisions of the contest judges regarding entries and winners will be final. The winner will be notified by e-mail and/or phone within five (5) days of the drawing. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  5. Prize: The winner of each drawing will receive a prize consisting of one pair of Red Wing Shoes work boots, size and style subject to availability (prize quantity: 100) To claim a prize, the winner may be required to provide proper photo identification and must sign and send to Red Wing, within ten (10) days of prize notification, such eligibility affidavits and prize acceptance documentation as Red Wing may provide; failure to claim prize in such manner shall result in forfeiture of the prize. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Red Wing to use a winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, address (city and state) and testimonials, in printed, broadcast or new media, in perpetuity, in any manner they deem appropriate in connection with promoting this or any other giveaway and/or promotion sponsored by them, without further compensation in connection with this giveaway or the prize awarded.
  6. Limitation of Liability: By participating, entrants agree that Red Wing, those involved in the development, production (including prize suppliers), implementation and distribution of this promotion and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, and agencies, and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person or entity associated with such entities and/or promotion shall not be liable for any and all claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this contest, including entry and participation in this contest and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any such prizes. Red Wing shall not be responsible for any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer on-line system, computer equipment, software, program malfunctions or other failures, delayed computer transactions or network connections that are human, mechanical or technical in nature, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from downloading and/or participating in any part of this contest. By submitting an entry, entrants agree to all of the terms and conditions of these rules and to the decisions of the sweepstakes judges, whose decisions shall be final and legally binding in all matters relating to the sweepstakes. Entrants waive the right to assert as a cost of winning any prize, any and all costs of verification and redemption or travel to redeem a prize and any liability that might arise from redeeming or seeking to redeem a prize. Red Wing, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel and revoke this sweepstakes due to printing errors or other mistakes.   7. Governing Law: This contest shall be governed by Minnesota law. By participating in this contest, entrants agree that Minnesota courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this contest and that venue shall be only in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
  8. Rules/Winners List: Winners’ names will be posted on the Site within twenty-one (21) days of selection.
